Job Description:

Position Title: Enrolled Nurse

Employment Type: Permanent Part Time

Hours per week: 24 hours per week

Position Grade: EN level 2

Salary: $64,471.84 -$68,599.17 (pro rata) base salary per annum)

Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations' Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2017

The Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Service inpatient ward is a 22 bedded unit that provides rehabilitation to patients with neurological conditions, rheumatology, cancer, transplant, LVADs, aged care, orthopaedic, and HIV patients, to name but a few. An interdisciplinary approach to nursing is expected from the successful applicant. Education and professional development is encouraged by the Nursing Unit Manager and a comprehensive orientation will be given by the Clinical Nurse Educator.

About the role:

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Enrolled Nurse to work within the Rehabilitation Service. This Enrolled Nurse will possess the appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Selection Criteria:

1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia

2. Currently registered as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.

3. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team.

4. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

5. Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system.

6. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as an enrolled nurse.

8. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
