Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Innovation Studio is where we bring together the best of IBM’s expertise and experiences to help our clients accelerate their outcomes. With 19 studios around the world, our global team’s mission is to take clients from inspiration to action. We show clients the art of what’s possible, help them navigate the complexities of their challenges, and connect them with experts from IBM who can help.

As a Solution Architect, you will lead the development of innovative showcases and support our Innovation Studio team by translating business requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. You will play a key role in our success by transforming vital business needs into code and driving innovation. Your work will support IBM and our clients globally, collaborating and integrating code into enterprise systems. Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

• Leading development and customization of showcases and PoCs for technical and platform solutions
• Collaborating with our developers, architects, and industry experts to shape the creation of inspiring showcases that deliver tangible impact for our customers
• Working with our Studio teams to maintain and localize demo and showcase assets
• Working with brand and product specialists to align assets to client needs
• Developing showcase applications (cloud-native, mobile, etc) for showcases, demos, prototypes, and proofs of concept for client use cases
• Helping define the technical strategy and standards for the global organization
• Researching latest technology for showcase platforms and subsequently Studio infrastructure
• Implementing fun and interactive, yet reliable, performant, and secure solutions by applying agile methods

Minimum salary starts at 3.500 EUR/month depending on previous experience.

This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times per week.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Understanding of modern application development methods and frameworks or exposure to full stack development, preferably Node.js, TypeScript, Python
• You are very technically savvy and always on the lookout for the latest trends and developments
• Understanding of artificial intelligence concepts or Software as a Service principles, including common deployment and architectural patterns, both on-prem and in the cloud
• Technical background and knowledge of IBM platforms and products, especially hybrid cloud
• Solid analytical, decision making, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience creating innovative business relevant ideas and solutions
• Ability to demonstrate creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
• Exposure to software architecture design and data and systems integration
• Possess strong leadership and collaboration skills
• Holds an Architecture or IT Specialist Certification Level 2 or higher
• Proficiency in infrastructure and network management following IBM CIO standards
