Introduction

As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will help to lead the growth and management of all facets of the business, primarily by using this global position and perspective to assist the local geographies. This requires demonstrating thought leadership, and delivery leadership in the core domain of AI security and Cyber security. The Senior Managing Consultant – Security for AI must be willing to travel 25% annually, including international travel.

  • Work with global and local teams to help organize project approaches and teams for client delivery
  • Work closely with the global and local solution design teams in developing client presentations and Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Provide demonstration of IBM credentials in the core domain
  • Provide a focal point for geos to help understand capabilities, offerings, client references
  • Participate in project delivery, to varying degrees depending on project complexity and geography needs
  • Be accountable for technical delivery of key engagements in geographies
  • Establish demonstrated client relationships in key accounts to help progress the Security Services portfolio
  • Contribute content and advice to the offering development process


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Develops robust security frameworks, conducting AI-specific risk assessments, and implementing ethical guidelines for AI algorithms and applications
  • Identify correct fit solutions for AI security threats; Deepfakes, AI model attacks, AI malware protection etc.
  • Work with solution partners to develop IBM point of views, assets, and accelerators
  • Oversee training and delivery of AI for security projects.
  • Develop capabilities to implement security for enterprise AI solutions e.g. OpenAI, Microsoft Co-pilot and WatsonX.ai
  • Develop security framework for design, build, implementation, and management of AI solutions for the enterprise.
  • Ability to work with global solutions teams and across local geographies to provide content to drive deals to successful closing
  • Become a recognized thought leader in the core domain, utilizing conferences, white papers, client presentations to build awareness of IBM credentials
  • Help shape the emerging model of the Global Security Practice
  • Provide global practice leadership by facilitating a community of like-minded practitioners to share and exchange ideas for practice growth and improvement
  • Help resolve project issues as they arise
