JOB PURPOSE

The successful incumbent is an integral member of the Vaccines GBU ensuring operational smoothness, particularly, but not limited to, the following roles and responsibilities:

Acts as focal point between Local/Regional Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sales & Franchises and other related functions to ensure uninterrupted execution
Ensures end-to-end accurate demand planning and supply forecast for the short, mid and long terms for Japan, in close alignment with the franchises, Finance BP and supply chain
Ensures minimization of product write-off
Secures the allocation and ensures a rolling forecast as accurate as possible, while maintaining high level of agility, in close alignment with Finance BP
Leads and supports key commercial activities wherever possible including commercial policy, distributors’ management, and performance management in alignment with Market Access and cross-GBU Trade teams
Coordinates Vaccines-specific Trade & Revenue responsibilities in close collaboration with cross-GBU Access and T&R teams, especially to customize alternative municipality contracts
KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES

Planning & Forecasting

Consolidates the Sales forecast and Demand assumptions
Ensures the update of the Rolling Forecast in the relevant tools in alignment with FBP
Consolidates the allocations and ensure appropriate prioritization
Assesses and monitor the Demand risks and opportunities versus financial forecasts and alert the management accordingly
Participates actively in the financial forecast (Budget, F1, F2) and long-term strategic planning
Accountable for the proper execution of key supply chain processes including S&OP, Demand & Supply (D&S), Supply Feedback (SFB) and Market Risk Assessment (MRA)
Sales Execution & Commercial Policy

Participate actively in the monthly sales forecast and its execution, in coordination with the countries, Finance and the International Customer Service (ICS)
Implement the performance dashboard, including SISO reports, allocations in coordination with Finance
Acts as the focal point with local TRM for commercial strategies
Leads Vaccines-related Commercial Policy processes
Business Strategy and Execution

Participates actively in the countries’ budget, forecasting (financial, supply chain, allocation...), strategic planning, brands’ plans and marketing plans
Ensures cross functions & transversal collaboration with Franchises, Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, etc. in all relevant activities
Works transversally with other Sanofi GBUs to identify operational synergies and to share best practices
Vaccines-specific T&RM activities with a focus on alternative (municipality) contracts 

Collaborates closely with Head of Market Access as well as Head of Trade & Revenue Management as well as Vaccines Public Market Development (PMD) team
Is key contact point for Vaccines-specific municipality contracts, e.g. customizing those, travelling to and negotiating with municipality stakeholders together with/on behalf of Head of Market Access and Trade, in close alignment with Wholesale partners, where relevant
Responsible for and ensures KPI tracking and is accountable for execution of municipality funding acceleration

■TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 20-30% domestic travelling

■BACKGROUND (EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE)

■Education : Bachelor’s degree (Business / Finance is a plus)

■Experience:
3-5 years prior experience in project management, supply management, finance or consultancy
And/or 3-5 years cumulative experience in either commercial / sales / marketing / and-or Finance experience
Work experience in Healthcare industry is a plus
English and Japanese Full Professional Proficiency
