What you'll be doing: 

  • Strategic support and development of the assigned SME customer portfolio
  • Active customer relationship management, both domestic and multinational as well as continuous 
  • exchange
  • Needs assessment and avoidance of RfPs at headquarter level or at the local level based on the portfolio
  • Preparation of offers and contract negotiations
  • Advising and supporting customers in the management and implementation of their T&E programs including online business
  • Consulting and distribution of solutions and additional services (i.e. M&E, consulting services etc.)
  • Customer analysis and increase of profitability as well as responsibility for billing
  • Regular customer reviews and derivations of recommendations for the optimization of the T&E program 
  • Implementation and achievement of quantitative and qualitative goals
  • Continuous collaboration and coordination with the Traveler Care team and other departments like finance, M&E, Marketing, Human Resources, Implementation, etc.
  • Deepening and ensuring the customer relationship across different hierarchical levels and departments. Targeted and proactive support of these levels
  • Support with regular surveys as well as Net Promoter Score
  • Implementation and delivery of international or local project work
  • Collection, maintenance and updating of customer data in the CMS (Customer Management System)

What we need from you:

  • Apprenticeship in the commercial / business administration area
  • Fluent in spoken and written German and English, other languages are an asset but not crucial 
  • Sales experience is essential. International experience is an advantage
  • Openness and willingness to learn towards the company and the customer
  • Strong conflict and communication skills and high social competence
  • Independent, goal- and team-oriented thinking as well as good analytical and conceptual skills
  • High willingness to deal with numbers and their interpretation
  • Very good knowledge of modern means of communication (i.e. video conferencing incl. presentation)
  • Very binding and reliable manner in spoken and written form
  • Process-oriented thinking and acting considering the relevant internal coherences
  • Resilience and flexibility in changing and new situations
  • Willingness to travel
  • Communicative, convincing personality, sovereign attitude and binding nature
