Reporting to the Manager, Technology - this role is part of the US Parks Technology & Digital team responsible for working with site partners to develop, define, and execute the strategic direction of ticketing and commercial initiatives at Disneyland (DLR).

This role will be highly integrated with business and technology stakeholders throughout all phases of the product lifecycle to ensure initiatives deliver expected business and guest value.

What You’ll Do:

  • Execute discovery work for new capabilities, documenting current state and desired future state to guide the development process, synthesizing findings in a clear and compelling way.
  • Manage collaborative discussions to gain alignment and negotiate with our Business & product partners.
  • Develop and manage the product vision and roadmap throughout the entire product delivery process.
  • Lead requirement-gathering, user story creation, user acceptance criteria, prioritization, and execution with cross-functional teams, ensuring consistent communication with peers and leadership.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional collaborators, including product, engineering, design, commercial, and customer support. 
  • Prioritize with our business, product, and engineering partners, managing complex discussions to drive alignment.
  • Proactively identify potential risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to project timelines or deliverables.
  • Serve as a passionate advocate for the product, both internally and externally while educating stakeholders and customers about product features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Define and monitor key performance metrics to drive product decisions, while identifying areas for optimization.

What you will need:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in product management, technology delivery, or strategy development.
  • Subject matter expertise in the commercial product domain (tickets, lodging, digital products), with a thorough understanding of key business drivers and the technology enablers.
  • Experience within the hospitality industry a plus.
  • Experience leading initiatives that span several teams and functional areas, integrating diverse points of view toward a solution.
  • Advanced at writing business & functional requirements.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to use collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to facilitate complex conversations and pitch innovative solutions.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, gathering relevant partner inputs to drive resolution.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

DISNEYTECH

The hiring range for this position in California is $ $112,600.00-$151,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
