What you will do:

As the Continuous Improvement Lead- Kitting, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and integrating new processes and process improvements within the Kitting team.  You will serve as the Kitting representative for integrations, system changes, and cross-functional projects both within Stryker Canada and globally with a responsibility to communicate and integrate changes across the business. You will be highly collaborative and connected with the Kitting team, Operations, Commercial, and global business partners.  You will serve as a contributing member of the Operations team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values. 

  • Serves as a Kitting Workstream Lead on global Acquisition Integrations and other global/major PMO supported projects

  • Participates in and leads the development and execution of continuous improvement both within the department and cross-functionally

  • Maintains detailed documentation for each project outlining specific Distribution project tasks with expected timelines

  • Communicates proactively and regularly with the Distribution Management Team throughout the project, including the control phase after implementation 

  • Proactively identifies potential conflicts and/or risks associated with projects; proposes and implements mitigation strategies

  • Supports and strengthens team by coaching team members on Distribution project workstream activities on smaller projects, as needed

  • Performs root cause analysis, correction/preventative action, and troubleshooting using A3 problem solving methodologies

What you need:

  • University degree -required

  • 4 years of Supply Chain or Operations experience -required

  • Lean Six Sigma certification “preferred”

  • APICS designation “preferred”

  • Medical Device industry experience “preferred”

  • Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external customers- required

  • Highly computer literate, proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications "preferred"

  • Experience with PowerBI, Salesforce.com and/or Oracle “preferred”

  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
