The Opportunity
The Cloud Automation and Governance (CAG) team is on a mission to develop and implement next-generation governance policies for running the world-class public cloud governance program through automation. Our goal is to empower Adobe product teams to effectively manage public cloud resources by automatically identifying and correcting inefficiencies, resulting in significant cost and time savings. Skills & Responsibilities
Has substantial expertise in one or more public clouds - AWS, Azure, GCP
Proficiency in Network, Compute and Storage Optimization in public clouds
Responsible for the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, measurement, optimization, and improvement of software using industry standard best practices
Contributes to architecture, design, and code while factoring in business priorities. Proactively identifies problems with requirements
Serves as a role model for the team in terms of developing robust code both quickly and efficiently
Seek out and learn new technologies and techniques, and advocate for their use
Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders beyond immediate team organization
Regularly shares knowledge with peers, both in and out of own team. May mentor junior team members
Encourages and influences others to grow their creativity and innovation (e.g. of new product ideas/IP)
Qualifications
Masters level degree preferred, or equivalent business experience
7+ years of programming experience with Java or Python
Experience in Cloud FinOps discipline is a plus
Experience with data technologies (RDBMS, MongoDB, Kafka, Elasticsearch), ETL solutions and data analytics
Demonstrate sound knowledge of other technologies in use (Kubernetes, Airflow, Node.js, Docker, AWS, GCP, Azure, JavaScript, etc.)
Have outstanding experience in real-time or massively distributed systems
Ability to demonstrate a high level of ownership for the entire SDLC; including QA, build, deployment, and support of production systems
Ability to independently fulfill tasks with limited structure and minimal direction from management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
