We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Engineer (full-stack) to join our Adobe Journey Optimizer team based in Bucharest.

The Opportunity: Join the Adobe Journey Optimizer Customer Engineering team, where our primary focus is to help resolve customer issues Working closely with core product engineering teams and identify opportunities for preventing issues from occurring again. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to triage issues, debug complex problems, and develop solutions to prevent issues and escalations, ultimately ensuring a seamless customer experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Gain deep insights into customer challenges and triage issues effectively.

  • Debug complex issues involving multiple micro-services at different layers of the Adobe Journey Optimizer and underlying Adobe Experience platform.

  • Utilize Splunk and navigate through logs to identify and resolve issues promptly.

  • Develop solutions to prevent escalations and improve the overall customer experience.

  • Collaborate with Customer Support, Product Engineering, and Product Management teams to address customer issues and enhance product stability.

  • Be a champion for customer success, ensuring that their needs are addressed promptly and effectively.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Expertise in both front-end and back-end development.

  • Deep understanding of data structures and modern application development.

  • Ability to debug complex software issues involving multiple integrating products and underlying platforms comprising of multiple micro-services at different layers.

  • Good command of programming languages such as: Java, Python and Javascript

  • Ability to use Splunk and navigate through logs.

  • Experience with Customer Support and/or Customer Success Engineering is a plus.

  • Strong soft skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with customers.

  • Ability to document debugging steps to facilitate issue resolution and knowledge transfer within the team.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with getting on customer calls to understand their issues firsthand.

  • Previous experience in documenting debugging steps to facilitate issue resolution and knowledge transfer within the team.
