About the Opportunity:

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside is located in Chermside approximately 10km’s from the Brisbane CBD We are a leading acute tertiary hospital committed to delivering exceptional care.

As the Haematology and Oncology Services Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of compassionate, safe clinical care whilst ensuring patient advocacy, managing resources and ensuring all care delivered is done so within the regulatory frameworks whilst minimising risk.

Things that work for us:

  • Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

  • Ability to work on a Full Time basis

  • Criminal History Check and Immunisation compliance

  • Clinical expertise in the speciality area with at least five years’ experience in the delivery of Oncology and Chemotherapy services, providing advanced clinical care consistent with the mission and philosophy of the facility

  • Demonstrable leadership attributes and experience leading high performing teams

  • Excellent communications skills together with highly developed organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to maintain highly collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members

  • Ability to participate in and support education activities and to contribute to the development of self and team

  •  Have a strong working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and legislation

  •  Demonstrable success in resource management, including budgeting and workforce planning

  • High degree of computer literacy
