What You Will Do

  • Ensure the supply plan is communicated to stakeholders, financially evaluated with finance, and understood by the leadership team in each country, the plants, and the franchises regarding operational targets and budgets.
  • Provide leadership teams and commercial areas with estimated product quantities and availability dates. Manage back orders reports and project back order levels and elimination dates.
  • Deploy and monitor core supply processes within the plant/3PL, such as Master Resource Planning, Capacity Planning, Demand and Supply execution, and Safety Stocks.
  • Drive continuous improvement on core processes within supply planning based on defined standards by the business model and process excellence.
  • Provide manufacturing leadership with insights on planning future capital investment, capacity planning, and opportunities for cost and cash improvement.
  • Ensure production and procurement call-offs align with the supply plan and measure any deviations to drive a balanced scorecard approach on KPIs.
  • Support proactive communication of product availability, supply risks, and mitigation of back order issues within span of control, including intercompany and 3rd party purchasing.
  • Manage and develop team members, ensuring they are coached and capable of performing designated roles, including performance management. Ensure that KPIs are tracked, communicated, and corrective actions are taken and reported to leadership in time.

What You Will Need

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related area; MBA or master’s in supply chain preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Material Planning, Purchasing, or Imports roles.
  • Leadership experience with planning and ERP/MRP computer systems.
  • Ability to influence commercial teams, plant, and production cell personnel.
  • Demonstrated track record in supply/demand planning roles, delivering results through people.
  • Experience in running projects focused on problem solving and root cause analysis, preferably with lean methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Knowledge of S&OP and IBP processes, and the role of supply planning within them.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese required, Spanish highly recommended.

Travel Percentage: 30%
