What you will do-

Test, diagnose, calibrate, repair, rework or perform routine troubleshooting on a variety of electronic components, subassemblies and assemblies, on one or more product lines.  This position involves routine and repetitive work and tends to closely follow established procedures and processes.

  • Test, troubleshoot and diagnose, electronic components, sub-assemblies and instruments in accordance with approved practices and procedures

  • Follow process documents, test procedures, and other established criteria

  • Ensure adherence to drawing specifications, workmanship standards, and test procedures, and consistently inspect and identify areas for quality improvements

  • Troubleshoot a wide variety of assemblies to the  sub-assemblies, and interface with engineering in resolving the root cause  for technical problems and defect analysis.  Repair may be extend to component level

  • Inspect and identify areas for quality improvements

  • Assure all test equipment is up-to-date on calibration cycle through Calibration Lab and meets calibration requirements

  • Maintain and verify equipment to ensure proper calibration and operation.  Complete maintenance logs and reports on time and accurately

  • Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to : May provide technical assistance to production line, both assembly and technical when required for line balancing or delays, may work with engineering to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, provide training or assistance to assemblers, document repairs and failures in database, actively participate in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), and perform other related duties as assigned

What you need-

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in electronics

  • 2+ years of electronic technician experience

  • Knowledge of related practices, processes and procedures to operate a variety of electronic test equipment

  • Solid troubleshooting and repair fundamentals

  • Experience in understanding business process and computer systems

  • Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings

  • Experience with business and computer systems (experience using Microsoft applications)

  • Work in a team environment by collaborating and working independently to produce required results.

$24.41 - $32.75 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
