What you will do-

This position leads indirect procurement of one or potentially more sourcing categories: including, but not limited to Vehicle Fleet and some Administrative spend.  The responsibilities include source selection, contract negotiations and administration of complex contracts, often multi-million-dollar agreements, amendments, and statements of work.  Perform internal spend analysis, prepare bid packages, propose analysis and evaluation, contract provision negotiation, supplier selection/recommendation, contract award and administration, at a global level.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selecting, consolidating, and managing one or more 3rd party fleet management, leasing, maintenance, fuel card, telematics, and reimbursement providers, who will cycle and maintain 8,000+ vehicles and support drivers to manage business activities or transport company goods efficiently and save money

  • Manage the strategic sourcing across multiple business lines; perform the end-to-end sourcing and stakeholder engagement process resulting in measurable benefits and overall value

  • Partner, interface, and build relationships with internal customers to understand their requirements for products and services, along with unique needs of the businesses, divisions, and countries/regions

  • Draft, negotiate, develop, and execute supplier agreements, statements of work, service level agreements, and RFx documents with the objective of creating strategic business opportunities and savings for the organization

  • Utilize multi-step sourcing to gather requirements, launch RFx initiatives, evaluate and analyze results, and communicate recommendations to all levels of the organization and external supply base

  • Utilize legal and risk management knowledge to draft the most advantageous terms for Stryker, minimize contractual risk, obtain executive signatures, and avoid downstream contractual issues or poor performance without penalties and clear exit strategies

  • Review specifications and capital expense/allocation requests (CARs) to understand internal client needs, budgetary requirements, and savings opportunities meeting project deliverables and timelines

  • Manage reporting for fleet information, driver/mileage reimbursement, fuel/energy consumption and carbon footprint

What you need-

  • Bachelor’s degree- required

  • 10+ years of related experience- required

  • Fleet management, leasing, carbon footprint reduction, and reporting experience- highly preferred

  • $126,500- $279,500/year salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 20%
