Job Description

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on a full-time basis

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

•    Senior DRE for "Ignition Systems" and "Cranking Systems & Electronic Sensors" PMTs
•    Release new parts and management of current parts for the engines under GMSA region responsibility
•    Participate in the global PMT meetings
•    Lead PDT meetings with cross-functional teams and suppliers
•    Participate in the PAPIR meetings as required
•    Engage with Validation Team to ensure all validation procedures and required tools are complete and support engine tear down and issues resolution activities
•    Support resolution of PRTS
•    Support QRD activities
•    Participate in all design and tech reviews for the parts under her/his responsibility
•    Work to remove development and implementation roadblocks
•    Ensure all program deliveries, regulatory requirements and dates are met for specification release, DFMEAs, validation results, defect resolution, integration efforts, and product launch.
•    Engage with Subject Matter Experts (Tech Specialists) to ensure specification requirements and updates are complete.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering

• Crea Active
•    Fluent in English
•    DFSS Black Belt
•    Previous experience with one of the following engineering areas: Product Engineer (DRE), Vehicle System Engineer (VSE), Design Engineer, CAE, Validation, Engine Calibration, Drive Quality & Energy, Supplier Quality or other technical areas with Electrical/Electronic experience.
•    High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with other global organizations within both the technical and business communities.
•    Excellent communication skills.

What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preference Qualifications)

•    Experience with electrical/electronic systems and functional sub-systems.
•    Previous experience as DRE
•    Master's degree in a technical discipline or MBA
