Job Description:

About the Role

You will provide a high standard of clinical assessment, treatment and support to clients who are experiencing significant mental health difficulties and their families. The multidisciplinary team provides a range of clinical and therapeutic interventions using the recovery-focused Strengths Model of Recovery-Orientated Practice.  Duties could be performed across all parts of the Acute Response Service (ARS) which includes the Crisis, Triage, EDMH and MHaP (PACER) Teams.

The classification ranges for this position will be:

  • OT/SW Grade 2 YB20 - YB23 or YC42 - YC45 ($86,304 - $99,210 per annum pro rata)
  • Psychologist Grade 2 PK1 - PK4 ($92,627 - $104,811 per annum pro rata)
  • RPN Grade 3 NP81 - NP74 ($99,439 - $110,432 per annum pro rata)

Your Contribution

  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree (minimum) in Nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Division 1 or 3.
  • Masters Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology recognised by the Australian Psychological
  • Bachelor of Social Work (B.SW). Eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Eligible for membership of Australian Association of Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with AHPRA (if applicable)
  • A current Victorian driver’s licence.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments including mental state assessment, risk assessment and plan appropriate interventions.
  • Knowledge and ability to provide Psychiatric Triage services.
  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
