What you will do

The Business Enablement and Alignment team develops connection, organization, and alignment across Legal, Compliance, and our global businesses to support Stryker’s business goals with a focus on contracting. As the Project Manager on this dynamic team, you will work with diverse legal and business teams, driving projects that demand critical thinking, innovation, and sound judgment as you navigate a multitude of issues and decisions. You will exercise strong project management skills, proactively and independently moving initiatives forward while aligning with the overarching team goals and roadmap. Success in this position requires adept collaboration, as building and managing relationships are integral components of this role.

You will:

Project Management

  • Lead project management for initiatives related to business enablement and alignment while demonstrating flexibility and openness to assume additional projects as necessary to drive Global Legal Operations (GLO) strategic priorities.

  • Manage multiple legal operations projects concurrently, including scoping, planning, assigning roles and responsibilities, executing, and closing out projects while ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met.

  • Collaborate with other GLO project managers to develop and implement standardized project management tools, templates, and reporting methodologies for use across the GLO team.

  • Monitor and maintain costs within budget in partnership with the GLO Spend and Matter Management Manager.

  • Develop risk management plans for projects, including identifying, analyzing, and understanding project risks and developing and monitoring a risk response plan.

  • Develop a stakeholder management plan for the project based on the identification, analysis, and understanding of stakeholder expectations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to define project budgets, requirements, and priorities.

  • Estimate, acquire, and assign cross-functional project resources.

  • Develop and execute the communications management plan for the project team in line with the needs of key stakeholders.

Contract Lifecycle Expertise:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to contract management to continuously assess and enhance contract management processes.

  • Plan for and develop techniques to gather insights, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports on project progress and outcomes.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Master degree is preferred

  • 8+ years of work experience required

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in process improvement, project/program management, and change management preferred.

  • 2+ years of work experience in a global corporate legal department preferred.

  • Experience with contracting lifecycle in a global organization is preferred.

$112,800- $239,000 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 20%
