Controls Readiness Team (CRT) Lead: A new Vehicle Intelligence Platform (VIP) Portfolio Role!
VIP Execution Executive leadership is committed to milestone success and continues to work towards establishing a strong foundation of CRT Leads! CRT Leads already has a successful and proven impact to GM’s leading VIP program (production) milestones. We are seeking PROACTIVE, HIGH ENERGY LEADERS to join us in the continued pursuit of ZERO Soft Part Unknowns, ZERO Program Delay Due Late Changes, and ZERO Milestone Readiness Issues.
Responsible for leading a cross-discipline, CRT, with focus on vehicle controls production readiness and change management for Global Electrification, Controls, SW & Electronics (GECSE).
Proactively plan, track, analyze, and prompt risk management plans for X-SMT part level release issues that could impact product launch, production, and running changes
Facilitate CRT activities to support intended parts at the appropriate fidelity and/or functional safety level for APPV, PPV, MVB-ns, and MVB-s, SORP and post-SORP milestones.

RESPONSIBILITIES
PLANNING
Lead Controls Readiness Team (CRT) to meet program timing objectives
Serve as the subject matter expert for 'end to end' CRT processes and tools:
Soft Part Release (SPR)
Soft Part Distribution (SPD)
Engineering Change Management (ECM)
Global Product Delivery System (GPDS)
Global Enterprise Production Information Control System (GEPICS)
Establish an embedded controls readiness 'single point contact' brand for production, service, and over-the-air updates
Define program specific plans (i.e. ECR glide paths) to ensure readiness for vehicle launch, production, service, and OTA changes
Facilitate CRT Activities to include regularly scheduled meetings, special topic/in-depth reviews, and urgent action plans (as needed)
Use planning templates, processes, and tools as they are developed
EXECUTION
Ensure on time and quality launch by achieving a " ready-to-build status" by each milestones’ Material Readiness Date (MRD)
Maintains open lines of clear and concise communication amongst critical stakeholders (i.e.. CRT core members) on a day-to-day basis and in forums such as CRT Meetings, Vehicle Controls Integration Team (VCIT) Meetings, etc.
Support pertinent approval boards such as EE CAB and/or Program CAB to ensure successful implementation of engineering changes
Establish/maintain VeSCoM and engineering change release (ECR) traceability
Maintain and analyze progression of all associated ECRs for a given VeSCoM
Defines and expedites risk mitigation plans that could impact product launch, production, service, or OTA changes
Escalate issues identified throughout the CRT processes as needed
Use execution templates, processes, and tools as they are developed
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of project management experience
Working level knowledge of the following systems / processes:
GVDP (Global Vehicle Development Process)
Experience with Product Launches
Change Management
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated interpersonal skills leading cross functional teams
Effective at dealing with change and ambiguity
Tenacity to thrive in a challenging environment
DESIRED SKILLS
Ability to easily identify how issues are connected and affect outcomes
5+ years of Automotive experience, including project management
Experience in one or more functional areas: Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Product Engineering, GSC
Working level knowledge of the following / systems / processes

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington
- Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is: $93,400 - $149,200 Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
