About the Role
Provision of Computed Tomography (CT) imaging services, to the patients of St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, demonstrating leadership, specialist knowledge and experience. This position will participate in the service delivery, management, leadership and education within the CT department of St Vincent’s Medical Imaging (MID).
- Fulfil clinical duties through performing a diverse range of routine and complex CT examinations to a high diagnostic standard, with a level of independence and expertise of a senior clinician.
- Demonstrate an extensive level of technical ability, knowledge and experience within all areas of CT, including advanced techniques.
- Provide assistance and support to the Grade 4 Medical Imaging Technologist (CT) and other senior staff, completing delegated tasks as requested.
- Ability to contribute effectively as a participative team member within a multidisciplinary team environment, promoting a positive and supportive culture.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to Grade 1 and Grade 2 employees.
Classifications for this position will range from AT6-AT9 ($102,091- $116,646 per annum).
Your Contribution
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation or equivalent.
- National registration with AHPRA to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist and a Radiation Use License.
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About Medical Imaging
St Vincent’s Medical Imaging (MI) provides four comprehensive diagnostic imaging programs across three campus sites.
St. Vincent’s Medical Imaging Department (MID) is a tertiary imaging department providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services to SVHM’s inpatients and outpatients.
The MID CT department consists of two CT scanners, completing a range of outpatient, inpatient and emergency diagnostic and procedural examinations.
