About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Clinical Facilitator to join our Clinical Education team on a casual basis. The purpose of this role is to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills of student nurses for practice within the clinical environment. You will act as a professional role model for students at St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside and will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships to enhance our students learning experience.

Things that work for us:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

• Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and knowledge across a range of specialties

• A minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse

• Demonstrated educational abilities and use of best practice educational principles in relation to student management

• Knowledge of the National Competency Standards for Registered Nurses and Australian Nurse Teacher Professional Practice Standards

• Postgraduate study related to clinical teaching and/or the facilitation of adult learning will be highly regarded

Remuneration:

The position of Clinical Facilitator in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Classification/Grade with a base remuneration of $52.28 - $56.01 + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
