Opportunities for Impact:
As a Senior Module Engineer in LTD, you will be engaged in:

  • Conducting groundbreaking research to enable the production of innovative device architectures and bringing those designs to fruition.
  • Designing and conducting experiments to meet engineering specifications for the process and contributing to intellectual property development.
  • Collaborating with equipment suppliers to develop necessary equipment, identifying improvements, and implementing hardware modifications to address challenges.
  • Managing the manufacturing line to integrate various steps for complex microprocessor production.
  • Ensuring technology meets requirements through manufacturing volume ramp-up and transferring technology to manufacturing teams using the Copy Exactly Methodology.
  • Overseeing the installation and qualification of manufacturing capacity, auditing processes, and supervising initial production cycles.

Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below may be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related scientific STEM field with at least 3 years of hands-on equipment and process development experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Proven leadership in guiding equipment and process development teams to collaborate and deliver technological solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing fundamentals, particularly in thin film technologies such as PVD, CVD, ALD, electrodeposition, and pulsed laser deposition.
  • Understanding of Statistics Coursework, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE) principles, and engineering analysis tools.
  • Experience with experimental lab work and semiconductor and transistor device physics.
  • Expertise in advanced transistor device structures, fabrication processes, and in-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics and process integration.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to articulate clear, data-driven problem statements.
  • Familiarity with materials and physical device characterization techniques (SEM, TEM, etc.) and semiconductor device testing fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in statistical and data analysis software (MATLAB, Excel, JMP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of process control systems, methodologies, sources of variability, and statistics.
