We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The challenge

At Adobe, we're committed to helping our customers deliver unparalleled digital experiences and are looking for a seasoned, strategic business analyst to accelerate our own digital and marketing transformation through data and insights. As a Sr. Analyst of Audience Insights, you will drive projects and analysis to unpack customer behaviors, trends, and preferences to ultimately enable Adobe to better reach, engage, acquire, and grow its relationships with business-to-business buyers. Operating from within the Digital Marketing COE, you will tap into behavioral data collected from a variety of surfaces to recommend opportunities to increase marketing reach, improve engagement rates, and better drive lead generation and sales outcomes.

A successful candidate will possess a passion for surfacing new insights from data that can be applied to directly change marketing strategies and tactics. You will have exceptional problem-solving abilities, and ability to navigate across a broad range of business and technology landscapes to identify opportunities for digital marketing scale and impact. You will also have a history of successfully navigating complex data and dynamics that come with a business-to-business selling environment.

Customer insights: Conduct regular analysis to understand customer behavior, preferences, and value, utilizing profile and behavioral data collected, including mining consumption patterns on Adobe’s B2B web property (business.adobe.com).

Audience segmentation: Deliver frameworks and analysis to recommend segments for marketing to pursue in support of both high value pursuits (e.g., 1:1 and 1:Few ABM) and more scaled outreach (e.g., 1:Many programming).

Data enrichment: Influence data collection strategies (e.g., 1st party, 3rd party) in support of desired segmentation framework, and partner with marketing operations to assess and address gaps in audience profile coverage, quality and completeness.

Audience health: Create recommendations to increase and optimize reach and engagement across channels, applying targeting best practices (e.g., RFM, audience fatigue management) to increase the impact and efficiency of marketing investments.

Journey analysis: Leverage available reporting (e.g., Customer Journey Analytics) and perform ad hoc analysis to recommend content and experiences that drive customer engagement (i.e., “next best action”).

Journey testing: Collaborate with marketing teams to design and analyze cross-channel A/B tests, multivariate tests, and other experimental designs to increase engagement rates and customer "goal achievement."

Customer data platform: Partner with data architecture and engineering to identify relevant audience and customer data from marketing, sales, product, and support systems to curate foundational B2B profile (account- and person-based) for use in marketing targeting and analysis.

Required skills

  • 10+ years of success in analysis roles, and experience working with digital, customer-focused teams.

  • Applied knowledge in customer/operations research, statistical modeling, and/or strategic consulting, preferably in B2B setting.

  • Ability to galvanize cross-functional initiatives, and partner with dependent teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to convey complex data subjects to non-technical collaborators.

  • Ability to drive progress and results in fast-"paced and dynamic environment.

  • Knowledge of sales, marketing and/or support automation tools

  • Knowledge of digital marketing and web analytics capabilities and products (e.g., Adobe Analytics)

Preferred skills

  • Advanced degree (MBA)

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) services

  • Experience with other Adobe products (e.g., Analytics, CJA, Target, Marketo)
