We are seeking someone who will seize the opportunity to lead definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development for a test chip and execute the design toward tape-in, determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
Who You Are
As a Firmware Development Engineer, you will:
Develop embedded software/firmware within environments that have constrained timing and memory resources, designs and implements reusable code, performs design and code reviews, as well as tests and validates product implementations.
Utilize experience in system architecture and modeling, operating systems, device architecture, system integration, algorithm modeling, digital signal processing, and/or hardware design.
Work with a variety of interface standards.
Perform system level design modeling, and systems integration, additionally performing algorithm modeling, benchmarking implementation, and/or digital signal processing.
Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, as well is good written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
3+ months of experience with C programming language
3+ months of experience with firmware debug
3+ months of embedded design experience (coursework, personal projects, or work experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with C++, Python
Experience with Arm Architecture in embedded solutions
Experience with Code Reviews
Experience with Linux development
Experience with embedded software development, debug, or validation
Experience writing unit or system level tests
Experience working with a team of engineers using Agile methodologies
Experience with AI or Security
Experience writing early boot FW (BIOS, UEFI, TF-A, early boot code)

Work Model for this Role
