In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera® will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024, with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

The roles and responsibilities may include but not limited to work on some of the most difficult and interesting algorithmic problems around.
The 4-month internship position will focus on areas of Design Infrastructure and Design Intent. The main responsibilities will include assisting with infrastructure/flow migration and validation/testing in the new Altera® enclave compute infrastructure. This will involve migrating, updating, testing, and debugging the current design infrastructure and design intent-related code and flows to the newly created Altera® compute farm, updating the documentation and wiki pages to reflect the updates and the usage on the new network. It will require working closely with the rest of the team as well as users who might need help in the new environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
Experience or coursework with full stack software development. DA/CAD experience with FPGA design flow.
Experience or coursework with python, TCL coding, debug, and Linux.

Work Model for this Role
