Job Description: 

F11x Intel Rio Rancho is looking for a Cross Module Support (CMS) Engineer. The CMS module supports both critical factory wafer handling and process equipment, as well as test wafers and silicon applications and systems. This position will require exceptional collaboration with cross functional, cross company teams and equipment suppliers to meet challenging program and factory goals. It will also demand flexibility to accommodate and successfully meet changing priorities and needs in a fluid technology development and HVM driven environment.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical test wafer silicon solutions in support of the sites new technology development roadmaps.
  • Provide silicon capacity forecast, inventory management, operational system and application maintenance.
  • Define and establish process, procedures, and equipment configuration to meet new product introductions and volume manufacturing needs.
  • Define and create roadmaps to meet requirements, goals and milestones for new technology processes.
  • Develop strategies/process controls to prevent excursion events.
  • Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Establish relationships across various departments to drive cohesive learning and cross functional problem solving.
  • Install and qualification of new factory support equipment.
  • Train technicians for process transfer and creating standard operating procedures.
  • Engage closely with tool vendors.
  • Drive escalations and ensure resolution to any process and/or equipment problems.

Full time onsite is required during training (estimated 6 months). After training, hybrid "work from home" to be defined by manager and employee, but continued onsite will be required. Role is not eligible for full time remote work.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years Semiconductor experience
  • 1+ year CMS engineering experience
  • 1+ year factory startup experience

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
