The High Density Modular Test (HDMT) and High Density Burn In ( HDBI ) team designs, develops and provides a breakthrough massively parallel low cost test technology for silicon validation and high volume manufacturing. We are currently developing the next generation Tester ecosystem including the HW and SW for new instruments to enable a universal tester cell infrastructure that provides the best user experience for the Intel product development community and the HVM factories. This new test technology will be used to test billions of Intel devices in the next decade.

Qualifications:

The High Density Modular Test (HDMT) and High Density Burn In ( HDBI ) team designs, develops and provides a breakthrough massively parallel low cost test technology for silicon validation and high volume manufacturing. We are currently developing the next generation Tester ecosystem including the HW and SW for new instruments to enable a universal tester cell infrastructure that provides the best user experience for the Intel product development community and the HVM factories. This new test technology will be used to test billions of Intel devices in the next decade. The HDMT/HDBI tester includes multiple FPGA devices on various instruments, BIOS, and a software stack. The team is central to the organization with interfaces to FPGA design, FPGA SW test development and Validation and HW driver development. We are currently looking for a graduate intern who will work on the tester platform for FPGA validation. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1. Develop and execute test content to validation FPGA features and bug fixes. 2. Help characterize FPGA performance metrics, debug and find issues in Hardware/FPGA implementations and bottlenecks by running test suites. 3. Help drive and improve process standardization for productivity, efficiency and quality. JOB QUALIFICATIONS : What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications): - Current Student enrolled in a Masters degree program pursuing a Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering - 6+ Months Experience with Python, C/C++ programming. - Solid knowledge of FPGA validation and software testing methodologies. - Solid knowledge of FPGA development, system architecture and software development methodologies. - Clear written and verbal communication skills. Applicants for this internship should be able to start between May 2024 and July 2024 and be available full-time for 8 to 10 months. This internship will offer schedule flexibility as well as a hybrid work location to allow for classes while completing the internship.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
