Job Description: 

Exhibits solid understanding of key technology trends, industry segments and Intel's product lines to develop technically advanced solutions that help solve customer business problems, while creating significant pull for Intel's products and solutions. AI is the focus domain as the key requirement for this role.
Influences and advocates the technical abilities of Intel-based products and solutions for Intel's BUs through a vertically oriented, solutions-led approach to business and information technology (IT).
Advocate and demonstrate technically advanced solutions that help solve customer business challenges while creating a significant pull for Intel's products and solutions by developing and / or validating (replicating) demonstrations that demo use case capabilities on Intel architecture.
Job role would need an understanding the workflow and pipeline architectures of AI workloads. An in-depth knowledge of components and architectural trade-offs involved across AI's data management, governance, model building, deployment and production workflows is a must. Candidate should have hands-on knowledge of DevOps workflows and tools, such as Git, containers, Kubernetes and CI/CD, and also be involved in helping customers/partners move forward with integrating AI in the Intel platform and prepare their systems for new programs and applications to keep pace with emerging trends. Candidates should be able to conduct POC to demonstrate AI and other enterprise applications capabilities.
Thought leadership of solutions architecture to influence and execute the creation of new solutions, software and services optimization through technical engagement and utilization of Intel product capabilities across the solution stack.
Support optimizations of performance and total cost of ownership through infrastructure (HW BOM) sizing, workload (SW) optimizations, and innovative optimization techniques.
Collaborates with global cloud service providers (CSPs), digital services/SaaS providers, enterprise OEMs, cloud and public sector customers, independent software vendors (ISVs) and solutions integrator/managed service provider (SI/MSP) partners to maximize utilization of Intel products' capabilities.
Gathers customer feedback of assigned accounts to understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction.
Delivers keynotes and presentations at Intel, industry and customer technical forums to position Intel as a thought and product leader.


Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture: Collaborate with customers/partners to understand their technical requirements and design innovative solutions leveraging Intel technologies.
Pre-Sales Support: Engage with sales teams to provide technical expertise in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept implementations with hands-on lab activities more around AI Domain
Technical Consultation: Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical guidance on Intel-based solutions and assisting in overcoming challenges during the implementation phase.
Product Evangelism: Stay abreast of the latest Intel technologies and market trends, educating customers on the benefits and features of Intel products within the context of database infrastructure.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including BUs, engineering, and marketing, to ensure alignment between customer needs and Intel's product offerings.
Training and Enablement: Conduct training sessions for internal teams and customers to enhance their understanding of Intel technologies and their applications in database infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience, with 10+ years of experience in a technical role within a large system integrator or Enterprise with a strong track record of selling Technical Cloud (Public, Private, Hybrid), Datacenter technologies, AI solutions, edge computing technology

Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of data infrastructure and services management like relational and non-relational database technologies and vector databases. Proficiency in data pipeline, including experience with data governance, data quality, data integration solutions and Solutions around AI.
Strong understanding of data lakes and expertise in implementing solutions utilizing technologies like Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and related frameworks. Hands-on experience on infrastructure, storage, data analytics technologies, such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, Cloudera, Databricks, Apache Spark.
Intel Technologies: Comprehensive understanding of Intel processor architectures, including Xeon, Habana Gaudi and other relevant technologies. Familiarity with Intel software tools and frameworks, such as Intel Pytorch Extensions (IPEX), Intel Transformer Extensions (ITREX), Intel oneAPI, and Intel QAT for optimizing performance in data processing, analytics and AI workloads. The ability to build custom models, and experience with fine-tuning, and pre-training models will help. Showcase of end-to-end deployed AI solutions. Deployment considerations for On-Prem and Cloud


Pre-Sales Skills: Demonstrated success in a pre-sales or technical sales engineering role, including experience in presenting technical concepts to C-level executives and technical teams. Ability to conduct impactful product demonstrations and articulate how Intel technologies address specific customer needs.
Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and data processing.
Familiarity with benchmarking tools and methodologies for assessing database and data processing performance.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex customer requirements and design tailored solutions. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the pre-sales and implementation phases.

Collaborates with global cloud service providers (CSPs), digital services/SaaS providers, enterprise, cloud and public sector customers, independent software vendors (ISVs) and solutions integrator/managed service provider (SI/MSP) partners to maximize utilization of Intel products' capabilities.
Develops the industry offerings to drive endcustomer deal wins and/or open new market segments for cloudbased services in the industry.
Exhibits solid understanding of key technology trends, industry segments and Intel's product lines to develop technically advanced solutions that help solve customer business problems, while creating significant pull for Intel's products and solutions.
Works with the customers, partners/ISVs/SIs and BU development teams to create new solutions, software and services optimization through technical engagement and utilization of Intel product capabilities across the solution stack.
Gathers customer feedback of assigned accounts to understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction. Conveys deep technical requirements from partners and customers as a strategic input to product development roadmap.
Delivers keynotes and presentations at Intel, industry and customers technical forums to position Intel as thought and product leader
