Reporting to the Project Management Office Director, the project coordinator/controller will be in direct contact with the customer to ensure financial aspects of the contract are followed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Working in close collaborations with Sales and Tendering partners as well as Project Managers and other internal organizations partners.
Responsibilities:
Interfaces with customers and internal stakeholders (Engineering, Accounting, Supply Chain, Tendering and proposal, Marketing) and track contract execution and documentation in association with payment procedures.
Process lifecycle contractual documents in accordance with the contract, drawings and specifications and ensure that the project is managed in accordance with these documents.
Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (Drawing communication and approval, test report and approval, accounting payment booking, etc.)
Track responses and advise the Project Manager of the status of the project.
Manage project documentation to ensure that all relative project information is captured and transferred to the digital project database.
Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies. Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress.
Monitoring project financials and action project invoicing. Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing project risks, and ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicating with all stakeholders.
Identifies opportunities to improve the process and supports new system incorporation projects.
Qualifications:
Organization and prioritization skills – You are organized and can handle multi-tasking, balancing and prioritizing a number of tasks to meet business needs in a fast-paced work environment.
Communication skills – Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to convey or present factual and conceptual information on issues which require detailed explanation and interpretation.
Relationship building skills - Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships and resolve conflicts in a professional and tactful manner
DEC in administration or business administration degree or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an office environment
Bilingual (French and English)
Knowledge of SAP an asset
Knowledge of the Office suite an asset
