  • Partnering with Operations and Software Engineering to understand the investments across NEX Software in the different programs.

  • Provide support to the SW Product PLAs for Business Case modeling to roll up the investment.

  • Driving clarity into the swim lane and product view of NEX Software and Software Engineering spending to help the organization better understand its spending and trends over time.

  • Understand impacts of roadmap changes, as well as how swim lane and product view changes cycle over cycle.

  • Supporting decision making by providing ad hoc financial and key performance indicator analyses that influence leadership decision making, including cost / benefit analysis and sensitivity analysis for various 'what if' scenarios to evaluate potential impact to the business.

  • Providing financial insights and scenario analysis to support decision-making and resource allocation, with consideration of spending guard bands.

  • Working across NEX org with Finance, Product Management, Operations, and Engineering.

  • Executing financial process improvements by maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and recommending automation and more efficient methods of creation and delivery.

A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits:

  • Robust financial analysis, modelling/systems skills, and problem-solving skills.

  • Learning mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong influence, teamwork, and analytics skills.

  • Tolerance for dealing with ambiguity.
