POSITION OVERVIEW

  • The Solution Consultant is the primary technical resource for the field sales force. This position will have primary responsibility for supporting sales in India. 
  • Responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process for Adobe’s Experience Cloud products (primarily Adobe Experience Manager) working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. 
  • The Solution Consultant must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Answer questions during the sales process through documentation, presentations, and demonstrations
  • Identifies all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. 
  • Provide strong defenses against competitive products and object handle questions fielded by the competition in a sales opportunity.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships throughout the sales cycle. 
  • Provides enablement training, thought leadership and support to Adobe partners. 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO

  • Develop and deliver product presentations and demonstrations 
  • Represent Adobe products to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars,
  • Understand customer requirements and work with Adobe sales to craft an appropriate strategy to close the sale 
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs 
  • Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams 
  • Deliver product sales training to internal sales team as well as distributors and resellers 
  • Occasionally, develop proof-of-concept applications using rapid prototyping techniques 
  • Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 8+ years’ experience in technical sales of at least two or more Adobe Experience cloud solutions, preferably Adobe Experience Manager. 
  • Great communication and presentation skills. Comfortable delivering presentations to large audiences as well as senior customer executives. 
  • Expert in two or more of the following tech areas – Adobe Experience Manager, Content Management, Headless CMS, Cloud Deployments, Digital Analytics, Personalization & Optimization tools
  • Good knowledge of Java, Java EE, & Frameworks
  • Hands-on experience in core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, XHTML, JSON, JavaScript, JSP, Tag Libraries, Web Services and RESTful implementations
  • Familiarity with web component frameworks and applications such as Single Page Applications, Accelerated Mobile Pages, Progressive Web Apps 
  • 1-2 years of Web development experience would be advantage
  • Working knowledge of Cloud, DevOps, Web Deployments.
  • Understanding of sales cycles, sales operations, CRM and the India Digital Experience market.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% (within India).
