General Information:
Hitachi Energy is seeking an Account Manager located in Atlantic, Canada. This position will be responsible for building and expanding relationships with strategically important utility customers. Assigned to key accounts in the region, the Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, pipeline management, relationship management (Operation and C-Level) and strategic account planning while maintaining focus on customer satisfaction. The Account Manager represents the entire range of Hitachi Energy products, services, solutions, and systems: Transformers, High Voltage, Automation/Software and HVDC/FACTS.
The position will report directly to the Vice President of Sales for Eastern Canada (Quebec and Atlantic).
*Candidate must be located in Atlantic, Canada.
Requirements:
Manage the Total Customer Relationship
Manage, penetrate, and expand coverage at Utility distribution Accounts in Atlantic Canada.
Develop and /or facilitate relationships with strategic customers at all levels both within Hitachi Energy and within the customer’s organization(s)
Apply high level business acumen, understanding the customer’s business drivers, industry trends, economic trends, key issues and our competitive landscape
Act as focal point for problem resolution and initiate/monitor the Customer Complaint Resolution Process
Monitor and maintain an awareness of all key Hitachi Energy issues within the assigned strategic customers.
Account Management
Create and execute customer strategic account plan(s) that include: designing the executive relationship strategy, prioritizing opportunities, closing product gaps, driving sales growth and show casting our innovative digital solutions.
Leverage internal Hitachi Energy channels to maintain and improve customer satisfaction and to maximize revenue
Achieve annual budget targets and grow Hitachi Energy market share within your strategic accounts.
Opportunity Management
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline for monthly/quarterly forecasting in SalesForce.com
Lead the development of the tactical plans to ensure a winning Bid, utilizing the Hitachi Energy Capture Team Selling process
Provide regular reports, briefings and reviews as required using the agreed processes
Actively participate in the Account Management community to share ideas, expertise and lessons learned with other Account Managers and teams, to promote cross-Hitachi learning and to identify new solution possibilities
Qualifications:
Min 5-8 years of related account management, business development experience on the Utility Industry.
Proven sales background on OT/IT digital solutions is an asset.
Proven experience background such as sales, commercial and/or engineering on Power Systems or Energy industry is a must.
Degree : Bachelor or Master (e.g. BA, MBA, P. Eng,)
Must be resourceful, hands-on and driver for opportunities.
Proven effective communicator and collaborator.
Proven track record of target achievement
