Position Title: Business Analyst
Employment Type: Maximum Term Full Time
Hours per week: 38 hours
Position Grade: Health Service Manager Level 3
Salary: $122,850.00 - $139,559.00  base salary per annum
Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Health Employees Agreement 2019

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team supporting the provision of quality care for St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney. The Business Analyst role provides day-to-day operational support and is responsible for ongoing improvement of business processes and procedures. The successful candidate will oversee small projects and streams of work collaborating daily with internal stakeholders to problem solve and implement improvements that ensure organisation goals and priorities are met.  As the role also oversees corporate systems support and maintenance establishing relationships will be critical for enabling effective channels of communication with external vendors and companies.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Business Analyst who possesses a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from people with a ‘can do’ attitude, a proven track record delivering operational efficiencies through process improvement and excellent communication skills. Experience in Health is advantageous but not mandatory as long as you have a thirst for knowledge, are quick to learn and both willing and able to adapt your skills and experience to a new setting.

Selection Criteria:

  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
  • IT/Computer Science & Business Process Management certification
  • Proven ability to consult with internal or external stakeholders to align, adapt & implement operational efficiencies in line with organisation strategy
  • Proven track record successfully delivering small projects or sub streams of large projects autonomously
  • Advanced MS Office suite, Visio & Power BI skills
  • Strong leadership & communication skills (written & oral)
  • Quick learner who is adaptable, highly organised and task oriented
  • Excellent problem solver and decision maker
