Job Description:

Your responsibilities:

• As a project engineer, you will support both tenders and projects for HVDC system design, either locally or globally.

• You will develop personal competency by well accomplish each assignment.

• You will be optimally configuring AC/DC arresters to ensure economic and steady operation of HVDC, verify the configuration by study system overvoltage in PSCAD/EMTDC, which will be the input for equipment RS and mechanical layout.

• You will be involved in Equipment rating study, such as AC/DC breaker, DC chopper, PIR etc.

• To efficiently cooperate with every cross-function interface, make sure the understanding of each other’s need is sufficient.

• To understand customer’s requirement thoroughly, ensure on time and high-quality delivery.

Your background:

• Bachelor/Master of engineering in Power System/Power Electronics.

• HVDC working experience or knowledge will be considered as a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of power systems.

• Preferably experience of power system calculation tools such as PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB, Mathcad.

• Preferably knowledge on IEC/IEEE standards.

• Fluent English in speaking and writing.

• Willingness of collaboration and sharing with team members.

• Strong self-learning aptitude with a high technical interest.

• Good interpersonal communication skill.
