Job Description Summary

The MUSC Foundation is a $747 million organization with a lean staff of fifteen people. We are searching for a candidate to assist the Foundation team in managing and supporting a variety of administrative duties.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Job Description

Human Resources

20%

  • Maintain all payroll records for MUSC and MUSCP's payroll departments.
  • Track and record employee Leave Requests
  • Ensure employee actions (recruiting, hiring, promotions, and separations) are processed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor employee annual requirements.
  • Distribute HR communications as needed

Office Management

20%

  • Front line point of contact- answer incoming calls and welcome guests
  • Check, open, and distribute incoming mail daily.
  • Assist with the mailings of Accounts Payable and tax-related documents.
  • Monitor inventory and order office supplies.
  • Maintain Information Technology and asset inventory.
  • Assist with Policies and Procedures management, including MUSC intranet updates.
  • Distribute office communications as needed
  • Manage Foundation credit card.
    • Payment request Processing for Foundation Office
  • Manage Foundation interns

Board support

15%

  • Record Committee meeting minutes.
  • Board meeting support.
  • Social Event planning and organization
  • Assist with materials for quarterly Board and Committee meetings
     

Admin Support

20%

  • Payment Request Processing for Foundation Office
  • Prepare executive expense reports.
  • Coordinate all requested meetings by Foundation leadership and team.

Staff Engagement and Development

10%

  • Coordinate team building activities
  • Create and maintain employee training plans and professional development in coordination with the leadership team.
  • Support strategies implemented by leadership to improve employee engagement.
  • Assist in departmental new hire orientation/training process as needed.

Property Management

5%

  • Facilities management – Maintain office equipment and building maintenance.
  • 18 Bee Street
  • 176A/B Ashley Ave apartments
  • Guest House
  • Assist with 178 Ashley

Special Projects

10%

  • Assist as needed on special projects.

Additional Job Description

A high school diploma and five years relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services; or a bachelor's degree and three years experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
