Working within the Hub Europe of the Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service Product Group, you will manage the Marketing and Sales of the German Operating Units. You would drive the team to increase our Market penetration and implementing our strategy by continuously interfacing with the various departments within the Global Product Group and Operating Units within the Hub Europe. You will report to the Cluster Head of Marketing & Sales within Hub Europe and will drive the result of the Operating Unit to best serve our customers and the growing market.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be responsible to manage the Marketing & Sales target of the German Operating Unit consisting of Sales Targets, Gross Margin, coverage of the Business Models, Segments and Applications. Ensure that the Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service Product Group strategies are implemented within the Operating Unit
  • Drive the portfolio and strategy across the Operating unit and develop the plans together with your Marketing & Sales team and the relevant stakeholders. You will develop actions for increasing penetration within the markets and implementing mechanisms like Frame Agreements and Capacity Reservation Agreement in order to secure the pipeline and the associated delivery capabilities
  • You will work closely with the Country Front End organization to ensure the deployment of HBU EU strategic priorities and portfolio while ensuring that we capture the markets while driving the Business models implementation. You will work with the Front End organization to identify new market opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships to continuously promote our offerings within our portfolio
  • You will work in a collaborative manner with the within the Operating Unit of Germany and across the other Business Units and Global Center of Competences to secure a strong cooperation and alignment to be able to provide the best solutions and deliverables to our end Customers. You will also need to prioritize based on feasibility, resource availability and standardized solutions also driving shared lessons learnt across the organization

Your background

  • A degree in Engineering, Business or Management or other relevant subjects
  • More than 10 years of experience in Sales, strong experience managing team and with a good track record of success within the Electrical and Power Industry
  • Self-driven and experienced in driving the success of the team, able to motivate team members and working with different stakeholders and able to bring cross functional teams together
  • Fluency in German and English, written and spoken
  • Experiences in working in a multicultural environment, across different regions
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills
