Production Control & Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

In this role you are responsible for managing the production control and procurement department as well as keeping all processes in terms of company’s regulations and acts in line with the company strategy and objectives.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Participates on (A)VEC activities, on product changes (Production instructions).                                  
  • Actively searches for best available conditions for all material and services.
  • Provides company reporting (including HQ reporting).                                                                                   
  • Selects new suppliers for new projects. Cooperates with RHQ on feasibility studies.                          
  • Cooperates on company cross audits and assure compliance standards                                                  
  • Creates and follows PC and PROC budget                                                                                                             
  • Support team on supplier problem resolution in order to achieve flawless material supply             
  • Assure monthly planning run, continuous material supply, assure inventory counts.                         
  • Effectively reacts on customer changes and align best possible production and material plan.       
  • Agrees on packaging standards with customer.                                                                                                  
  • Assure regular reporting, creates CZ budget volume.                                                                                      
  • Assure warehouse management and material handling.                                                                                 
  • Manages and improve Kanban (minimize Material, WIP and Inventory).                                 
  • Actively seeks for Kaizen activities.                                                                                                          
  • Manage sufficient amount of customer packaging with respect to production plan.                           
  • Compliance with OHS, QMS, EMS according the requirements                                                                                                    

Profile and Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business/Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Procurement environment. Ideally within Automotive sector
  • Management Experience as well as excellent communication skills
  • Experience in working within international teams and multiple levels of management
  • Fluent in Czech and English
  • Strong PC skills including advanced proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
  • Highly detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions
  • Solid Knowledge regarding Health and Safety, Fire protection regulations
