Job Description:

• Technical support to clients on our energy storage and invertors products

• Create or/review article specifications / drawings ensuring that modifications, upgrades, and engineering changes are in accordance with client’s / Hitachi Energy standards and specifications.

• Responsible for creating customer complaints and use CCRP for all entries.
• Support Demand Sales Team worldwide for energy storage and inverters to the market

• Interfacing with customers at various levels to understand the detailed work requirements and to update the customer as appropriate.
• Working on Customer sites occasionally
• Active interfacing with internal departments
• Providing feedback for continuous improvement
• Ensuring that work is implemented within agreed budget targets, and that any potential extra work or cost changes are flagged to the Customer / Project Manager
• Generating clear, concise, and accurate documentation on a timely manner for all activities
• Ensuring that safe working practices are followed
• Actively looking for and report on new opportunities – for Customers and Hitachi Energy
• Create or/and review article specification/drawings
• Make sure common material is used (whenever possible) for the different products Simplify bill of material according to manufacturing or purchasing department input

• Elaborate and document dimensioning rules/assembly rules for engineering aspects
• Provide drawings to supplier (mechanical parts, custom cabinet)
• Make little modification on wiring diagram ( E-PLAN)
• Create new assembly / parts / 3D models (Creo)

Essential

• Qualified to degree in mechanical engineering discipline.
• Experience in mechanical design of control panels
• 3D models CREO
• Autocad experience
• Creation, update of Bill of material
• Competency and hands-on experience of control systems upgrades, modifications and on-going support – both within supplier offices and on a customer’s site
• SAP ERP system knowledge/experience

Desirable

• Advantageous to have knowledge of capacitors and harmonic filters.
• Experience in control systems
• Ideally, experience of in other products and systems such as, Drives, Motors, Electrification products
