Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Software Tester/Integrator with experience in Software intensive systems integration, verification and validation, Rail and Safety related system integration to be based in our Brisbane office.

Accountabilities will include but not limited to:

  • Guarantee an effective and efficient preparation and execution of factory and Site Tests to verify and validate System Architecture, main System Functions and Vehicle Integration, Interfaces and Operating Scenarios.
  • Increase and consistently improve the automation of software testing supporting a continuous integration environment
  • support the coordination of systems requirements management activities;
  • support the definition of the overall system Architecture;
  • support that subsystem interfaces are clearly identified, defined, documented, agreed and managed;
  • Contribute to the issuing of the integrated plan and ensure the integration activities implementation by a strict monitoring of the projects activities and indicators;
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a list of project issues, making sure that this list is discussed and agreed with the PE and the Project Manager;
  • support the definition of T&C activities supported by the main WP Leaders;

Qualification:

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or Software Engineering or Information Technology;
  • Rail Industry Worker card and competencies (optional)

Skills & Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the rail signal field; or
  • Demonstrable aptitude for automated testing of an integrated system
