About the Role:
We are looking to hire a Cloud Engineer to help build connectors to public cloud services using our homegrown ingest platform. Our platform currently processes 1B events per day, you will work closely and contribute back to the platform to create integrations that can scale seamlessly to handle petabyte scale.
What You'll Do:
Help define, build, and maintain third-party data connectors to the public cloud – AWS, Azure and GCP.
Work with industry-leading technologies like Kafka, Elastic Search, Cassandra, Redis, Docker and Kubernetes.
Troubleshoot critical production issues.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
7+ years of relevant work experience·
Experience with event stream platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)Experience with NoSQL and Relational DB’s
Hands on experience in large-scale (distributed) system architecture, high scalability and availability, and optimization
Experience in building data platforms at scale
GoLang/Java/Python skills with strong debugging skills
Operational experience in the tuning of clusters for optimal data processing
Experience working in Linux
Bonus Points:
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes based development and orchestration.
Contributed to the open source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging)
Experience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
