Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Builder A
Can read & interpret shop drawings
Knows how to measure for panel squareness
Understand the manufacturing table operation
Can lead, train & work as a team w/B-side builder
Can identify QC issues with RO’s & studs prior to framing
Ability to multi-task and think ahead
Can maintain a pace that allows for constant workflow
- Sheather A
Can read & interpret shop drawings to determine sheathing type, size & positioning
Can identify panel quality issues prior to sheathing
Can properly locate window & door openings for routing
Can operate panel saw
Can operate router safely & efficiently, and can swap router bits and determine when it’s needed
Can lead, train & work as a team w/B-side sheather
Can maintain a pace that allows for constant workflow
- Maintains a tidy work area
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family and commercial construction
- Knowledge of component manufacturing process used in residential, multi-family and commercial construction
- Attention to detail, takes pride in quality of work
- Efficient and able to complete assignments within a given deadline
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Communicates effectively with team members
- Must have qualified as a Wall Builder 4
