Summary:

Under direction of the Modular Shift Manager, the Modular Shift Lead is responsible for supervising the production, safety, and quality control functions of the manufacturing of the ON2 stations. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and the capability of working in a team environment are necessary for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meets all qualifications/requirements for Modular Builder 1, 2, 3 and 4 and can demonstrate proficiency of Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities of those roles
• Ensures all items manufactured are completed by the scheduled time
• Manages quality control and verifies all products produced meets or exceeds company standards
• Enforces company safety policies including associates use of personal protective equipment
• Demonstrates a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement; identifies and responds actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers; participates as a team player in all phases of the organization; and is open and responsive to change
• Complies with all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned within the reasonable scope of role responsibilities
• Is present workstation wearing personal protection equipment and ready to work at starting time
• Maintains a tidy work area

• Proficient with the use of building tools and materials for modular construction
• Strong knowledge of plan reading for all phases of modular construction
• Knowledge of common building materials used in modular construction
• Knowledge of component manufacturing process used in modular construction
