Summary:  To ensure all material going in and out of the yard is handled in an organized and safe way.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load all Wall Panels going out for delivery.
• Assist in unloading in coming deliveries as needed.
• Work with the Wall Panel production team to ensure all staged Wall Panels are in one place in the yard and in a clean and organized manner.
• Will complete a pre-use inspection on forklift daily prior to operating the lift
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Consistently meet acceptable attendance and punctuality expectations
• Complete all duties assigned within and outside of normal job scope
• Demonstrate a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement, identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Minimum one year as a forklift operator
• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Efficient and able to work safely
• Strong team work ethic
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Takes pride in quality of work
• Knowledge of building materials used in residential construction.

Other Requirements:

• High School degree or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
