What you will do

The Downstream Marketing Manager is responsible for developing annual marketing strategies for Interventional Pain and Interventional Oncology, the two fastest-growing portfolios at IVS!  This individual will lead a team of three direct reports and will work cross-functionally to commercialize new products and deliver portfolio growth.

  • Lead the team responsible for the product or portfolio strategy.

  • Guide others to deconstruct and extract the strategy from a well-written marketing plan.

  • Coach others on the market positioning and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors.

  • Share marketing intelligence and information with the team.

  • Establish pricing strategy, including contract pricing.

  • Coach others on how to utilize the product or portfolio structure to maximize brand equity.

  • Demonstrate financial acumen.

  • Develop an effective KPI strategy for the business.

  • Supervise others in their use of data collection, analysis, and reporting tools.

  • Lead a team of professionals: develop employees, which includes hiring, communicating company policies, coaching and counseling, administering performance appraisals, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures.

  • Promote an environment that fosters personal growth and development.

  • Hold team accountable to deliver high-quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities.

  • Collaborate and influence others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • MBA preferred

  • 8+ years of work experience required

  • 2+ years of people leadership preferred

Travel Percentage: 50%
