This Inventory Control Intern provides support to maximize opportunities within our Inventory Control team. This will include assisting with the preparation of reporting for in-house and in-field inventory counts, and reconciling results in the ERP system. They will be required to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, provide hands-on day to day supply chain support, and execute on inventory activities. The Intern will also work with the team to complete activities related to proper shelf-life management including, but not limited to, order booking and return number creation while striving to deliver a superior customer experience. They will lead process optimization activities for areas identified in the supply chain where operating efficiency and/or inventory and asset financial performance can be improved. This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Operations team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values.

Functional Responsibilities
Inventory Count Program Management
Run reports and prepare inventory count sheets
Download of count data from various online portals
Assist in reconciliation of count results
Complete all data entry of approved inventory adjustments
Update tracking files where appropriate
Shelf-Life Product Management
Enter new consignment orders
Creation of return reference numbers
Follow-up on returns
Update tracking files where appropriate
Identify process improvements and implement solutions with the team
Assist in the coordination of item phase out activities by completing inventory and financial analysis and working collaboratively across the business to manage product obsolescence
Other duties as assigned by manager

Education & Qualifications
University degree in progress or completed
Educational background or previous experience in supply chain preferred
