What you will do:

As a Sales Education Associate Manager, you will develop, plan, and conduct Sports Medicine sales training curriculum, courses, and programs to enhance proficiency in selling the Business Unit products and/or services for sales representatives and reseller partners. You will design training classes and education materials to deliver effective learning and development experiences for new hires. 

  • Assists with sales force onboarding, sales training, and rep development with an emphasis on clinical development and implant sales competency to promote top line growth to the Sports Med BU. Collaborates with sales, marketing, and leadership within the Endo Division and other applicable divisions (Sports Med and Comm).
  • Identifies technical training and developmental needs and curates training initiatives and curriculum that can be tracked and reported.
  • Promotes clinical mastery and development throughout the continuum of education and drives usage across all digital training platforms and advanced sales tools: ie. The Huddle, CRUSH, Clinical Studies, ROI calculator, and clinical models.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Works to understand Sports Med BU’s business goals and creates all education programs to align with the BU’s current goals and future strategy
  • Works to maintain a strong knowledge of the Sports Med implant, biologics, arthroscopy and capital portfolios, services, customers, and competition to remain relevant and effective. This person is a current sports medicine and implant subject matter expert who leads the development of effective Sports Medicine training materials.
  • Works to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and the Sports Med sales force to ensure training is relevant and actionable to sales force
  • Builds training programs and content specific to Sports Med’s shoulder, knee, hip and biologics portfolios, enabling the sales force to deliver clinically relevant products and provide value to our customers
  • Identifies skills and behaviors of top performing reps and works to cultivate those skills and drive those behaviors to all sales reps
  • Mastery in digital project management, responsible for customizing and launching the CRUSH digital platform and Huddle LMS to the Sports Med Sales Force.
  • Digital Content Management: prioritize, create, integrate, and publish LMS training materials to the sales professionals; implement and manage on-going feedback with the sales professionals to drive continuous improvement
  • Training: build out a calendar of formal and informal sessions covering new hires sales training, advanced imaging courses, ongoing skill development, etc

What you need

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 6+ years of work experience required
  • 3+ years of medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills

$85,500 - $182,100 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data.  Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location.  Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 30%
