As a Sports Medicine Senior Portfolio Associate, you will help create the shoulder and extremities portfolio of the future! You will work closely with surgeons and sales representatives to conduct market research and VOC, as well as partner with R&D and cross-functional teams to execute the product development process from an upstream marketing perspective.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Interact with surgeons, sales force and internal stakeholders to inform future portfolio decisions while establishing cross-functional R&D, sourcing and PMO relationships to execute the product development process.
  • Assist in the creation, prioritization and execution of the 5-year Sports Medicine Shoulder product roadmap.
  • Utilize market data, qualitative and quantitative research to understand the Global Sports Medicine Shoulder market and strengths of key competitors.
  • Build financial business case models and demand forecasting to support new product development funding and product return on investment.
  • Act as a Shoulder subject matter expert to assess business development opportunities.
  • Attend and help organize relevant scientific and technical meetings and conferences, as well as cadaver labs.
  • Effectively plan and execute Voice of Customer and Voice of Sales feedback sessions and events.
  • Identify key elements within a new product's Value Proposition that require evidence.
  • Understand and assist in development of a product lifecycle management (PLCM) plan.
  • Communicate market intelligence and project readouts to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Gather and apply Sports Medicine Shoulder market research in decision making.
  • Utilize the appropriate pre-commercialization plans to put in place to earn new customers or expand in current categories.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required). 
  • 2+ years of work experience (required).
  • Medical device experience(preferred).

$67,400 - $136,200 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 40%
