What you will do:

Responsible for designing and maintenance of sustainable data infrastructure, automated tools, and master data support. Ensures high data quality and drives engineering and maintenance of relevant systems and processes. Uses deep understanding of SQL, SOQL, data modeling, programming, and data management in support of the team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes existing systems and their data models to help provide direction or build out solutions that answer strategic questions for our business.
  • Supports problem solving, root cause analysis, solution identification, and evaluates them against requirements.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains robust data infrastructures to support Stryker's data needs.
  • Designs and implements automated tools for data processing and analysis, enhancing overall efficiency and accuracy.
  • Enables the maintenance of master data systems and processes, ensuring the integrity and quality of master data for the business.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategies for improving data quality and ensuring compliance with data governance standards. Monitors and optimizes data workflows, identifying and resolving any issues related to data integration, transformation, and storage.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, analytics, or other relevant field
  • 0 plus years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Salesforce data pipelines, organization, and utilizing SOQL to extract, transform, load, and analyze relevant data.
  • Experience with improving processes and documentation
  • Experience with cloud-based data technologies and platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management principles for effective planning and execution of data engineering projects.
  • Proficient in using Power Query to shape and transform data in Power BI or Excel, with a focus on data cleansing, filtering, and structuring for analysis and visualization preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on Power Apps and Power Automate, with the ability to design, develop, and deploy efficient and user-friendly applications and automated workflows.
  • SAP S/4 HANA or SAP IBP knowledge of system modules, transaction codes, tables/fields, and data integrations capabilities.
