What you will do-

The Sourcing Analyst will provide reporting and analysis on key Sourcing metrics for the local Sourcing team. You will also be involved in intra-departmental communications and will be a key contributor/support-player to higher level managers by providing administrative support.

You will provide input and analysis into the strategic sourcing activities within the Endoscopy division of Stryker. You will obtain the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. You will support the implementation and execution of specific projects related to cost reduction initiatives, new product development, supply base optimization, quality improvement, risk assessment, and contract negotiation. This is a hybrid role. We are seeking a candidate in San Jose, CA or area surrounding area. The employee is expected to be physically present at the San Jose, CA Stryker location on a weekly basis but has the flexibility to work from home.

• Responsible for working directly with Sourcing, R&D, quality, marketing, operations, and manufacturing on site at Endoscopy

• Execute necessary new product development activities such as new product parts and tooling procurement, system supplier and parts setup, NPD escalations, and hot parts activations

• Support new product launches; supplier selection, requests for quotes, supplier deliverables, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful launch

• Manage projects for implementing processes or tools to organize Sourcing data and Sourcing Programs

• Participate in assuring cost standards are established for annual operating budgets

• Perform sourcing analysis and selection process, including financial and non-financial inputs as required for clear sourcing decisions

• Participate in the implementation of enterprise-wide metrics, tools and processes to optimize sourcing and supplier activities

• Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization

What you need-

• Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or equivalent).

• Experience in Supply Management or Sourcing or other relevant functions “preferred”

• Ability to effectively communicate and present information to suppliers, team members, team leaders, and top management.

• Ability to build relationships across multiple functions and levels both internally and externally “preferred”

• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies & cost reduction methodologies “preferred”
  Knowledge of supplier metrics & measurement methodologies and supporting systems “preferred”

• Advanced Power BI skills, Advanced Excel, SharePoint and basic knowledge of project Management tools -required

• Strong analytical skills -required

$56,000 - $101,400.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. 

Travel Percentage: 10%
