As a Staff Engineer, you will be a key member of our international Digital, Robotics, and Enabling Technologies (DRE) Advanced Operation (AO) team, which is responsible for supporting projects and tech blocks across our AI and Digital teams.
You will help drive towards innovative technologies, and your contribution will impact daily work in hospitals around the world.
What you will do:
Provide process engineering support for new product and process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented per Stryker design transfer procedures.
Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation associated with new product and tech block launches.
Develop inspection and test method protocols
Be proficient with and mentor others in usage of industry standards, including design requirements and test strategies per applicable regulations
Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success as a leader on the team
Identify and support the creation of or improvements to procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology
Deliver high quality results with passion, energy and drive to meet business priorities
Build relationships and influence across the engineering groups within the business
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
Minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience required
Understanding of electrical components and manufacturing methods, including common failure modes required
Ability to interpret, analyze, and test electrical designs required
Working knowledge of the electrical design process required
Proficiency in the use of CAD and/or other circuit design and analysis tools to design required
Knowledge of standard technologies used in industry required
Ability to interpret and analyze system drawings with basic Mechanical/Software/Electrical Interactions required
Knowledge of sub-system, system, and environmental interactions required
Experience in an FDA-regulated or regulated industry- preferred
