As the Sr. Technical Solution Analyst, you will be responsible for design, configuration, and testing activities for a specific platform team and/or corresponding set of applications.  Additionally, you will be responsible for the delivery of approved projects through the project management framework.  In this role you will need to be able to produce detailed technical documents, configure and/or develop within the assigned applications and understand the overall design and architecture of a platform, and deliver the end-to-end technical solution.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform activities following Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes.
  • Technical Design, Development, Testing and Delivery of solutions for Release Cycles and/or new projects within a Shared Service Platform / application stack.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the systems process flow, performance and technical efficiencies, which will be distributed across Projects, Release Cycles and Operations / Support.
  • Produce technical and system documents, configure and/or develop within assigned applications and understand the overall design/architecture of a platform. 
  • Communicate within IS teams is critical for both day-to-day events and building out new solutions.
  • Transition knowledge of the new/enhanced capabilities (including technical aspects) to the Service Delivery Team(s).
  • Support the business and recommend/provide holistic solutions that integrate the existing technical standards with the business needs and processes.
  • Recommend approaches to optimize/tune systems performance.
  • Work with other IS teams along with business teams to deliver business solutions.
  • Partner with Business Analysts in understanding system requirements and translating into solutions within an application and/or application stack.
  • Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.
  • A Minimum of 5 years of professional experience required.
  • Experience with Oracle CPQ highly preferred.
  • Experience documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, evaluate and recommend changes to business processes is required.
  • Experience working with high level business stakeholders is required.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills preferred.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills to a diverse set of audiences.

$85,500.00 - $182,100.00, salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 50%
