As our Marketing Communications Specialist for our Stryker’s Upper Extremities business, you will serve as a brand ambassador while supporting and driving communication through various platforms and collaborating with business partners.

What you will do

  • Understand the basic principles of brand structure and its implications.
  • Write, edit and proofread various communication materials to maintain a consistent and compelling brand voice.
  • Coordinate planning, creation and distribution of divisional communications through appropriate communication channels and platforms, ensuring transparent and effective communication for target audiences.
  • Assist with the execution and tracking of the divisional content calendar, helping maintain timelines while securing and managing resources.
  • Manage and update content on the company intranet and other various internal channels to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Contribute to the development of creative and editorial review protocols and processes.
  • Serve as brand ambassador, ensuring consistent application of visual and verbal brand identity guidelines while demonstrating basic principles of design, layout and color theory to develop creative concepts.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns, utilizing insights to make data-informed decisions and optimize strategies for improved engagement.
  • Maintain a high degree of self-motivation and generate fresh ideas and demonstrate fresh and compelling ideas, strategies and tactics.
  • Support and execute the communication strategy of the annual marketing plan.
  • Support the development and execution of Stryker-sponsored tradeshows and events.
  • Apply knowledge of key competitors' products and positioning to support message development.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related discipline required
  • 2+ years of work experience required
  • Experience in Marketing and Communication preferred
  • Previous experience working in Marketo and social media preferred
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing tasks and delivering on established timelines
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies

$58,700 - $118,600 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 20%
